Thanks to all of you who came out to visit us at HOUSTON’S VIA COLORI and for voting Imago Dei in the Top 20 as a Fan Favorite. We had such a blast!
In case you missed it The Houston Via Colori Street Painting Festival was on November 17 & 18, and had over 240 artists take over the streets of downtown Houston, covering the ground in colorful chalk art murals. It was a FREE two-day festival that benefited The Center for Hearing and Speech.
Imago Dei artists Henry Membreno, Susan Diebold Chughtai and Meredith Cunningham created a 10-by-20 foot chalk mural for Blue Moon Brewing Company with the Houston Bayou in the background. Check out our mural in progress:
And the finished product! Don’t you just love how this turned out? Again this mural is 10′ x 20’… it was Massive!
Even the Mayor, Annise Parker, came over to check out our mural. So Fun!
Imago Dei was voted in the Top 20 as a Fan Favorite at Via Colori for our mural representing Kroger.
Imago Dei artists Ali Kay, Sarah Pope, and Audrey Omenson created the chalk mural for Kroger. Thanks to all of you who took pictures and supported our efforts. We are thrilled that this benefited The Center for Hearing and Speech.
