OUR ROLE: Fine Artists

The splendor and beauty infused in the Texas landscape inspired this six-part work. These pieces deconstruct the idea of a traditional landscape by exposing and exemplifying the individual details that are often overlooked. While composing the work, we sought to capture the emotive essence of the landscapes by focusing on the form, detail, light and energy that each element emits. We specifically chose to use vivid hues and complex patterns found in nature to bring light and life to the interior of this atrium. The curved metal sculpture supporting the paintings interacts with the original architecture of the building to create an illusion of weightlessness, resulting in a meditative effect that encourages viewers to interact with each distinctive piece.
